Founder of Bapu in 2003, he specializes in outdoor sports filming and the creation of documentary-style television formats, with a particular focus on shots using Gimbal, Ronin 4D, rigs, camera cars, drones, and FPV.
He has participated in a wide range of projects, from creating documentaries in extreme conditions, such as in the Gobi Desert or on the walls of K2, to collaborations with renowned television channels and streaming platforms like National Geographic, Netflix, Prime Video, and Warner Discovery, working effectively internationally in various contexts and conditions.
Dedicated to sharing his knowledge, Paolo is also a passionate educator, leading workshops and projects that blend technology and visual art, continuing to explore and tell stories through new visual perspectives.
The collaboration with National Geographic, which began in 2007 thanks to Massimiliano Sbrolla, has led Paolo Aralla to film documentaries in various parts of the world, exploring remote locations and capturing stunning images that convey the beauty and complexity of nature.
Mountain Film Crew, founded in 2018, is now the go-to reference for high-quality filming services in mountainous environments. With a special focus on the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, the team, led by Paolo Aralla and Alessandro D’Emilia, is ready to offer innovative solutions to capture the essence of the winter competitions.
In 2020, he founded Wond AR Studios, a consulting agency focused on motion capture and data acquisition for visual effects (VFX). By integrating the latest technologies, he has created an innovative and cutting-edge entity in the field.
